FAQ

Can SonoMaxx ultrasounds detect small tendon or ligament tears?

Yes. Models with high-frequency linear probes provide detailed imaging of superficial structures—ideal for evaluating the rotator cuff, Achilles tendon, patellar ligament, and similar areas.

Absolutely. All models include in-plane & out-of-plane puncture assistance function to improve injection accuracy and safety. MSK-focused versions like the L10H-Guide also offer visualized needle tracking, which is especially helpful in anatomically challenging cases.

Not entirely. SonoMaxx is excellent for real-time assessment of tendon injuries, bursitis, and effusions at the bedside, often reducing the need for MRI. But MRI remains the gold standard, and you may still need it for advanced diagnosis.

Very. SonoMaxx devices are built with high-grade materials, are drop-tested, and are rated for water and dust resistance. They’re designed to handle daily use on rounds, sidelines, or in mobile care settings.

Scans are saved directly to your iOS, Android or Windows devices via secure Wi-Fi in EMR-ready format with any annotations. Files are easily exportable to PACS, DICOM networks, or cloud systems for seamless record-keeping and sharing.
